Two floor apartment in Ebury St, Belgravia
The existing timber framed/glazed extension to the upper floor was demolished and a new extension built in London stock brickwork with a lead flat roof. This new extension followed the existing basement extension footprint and seamlessly integrated with the main building. This lovely space housed the new kitchen/dining area with natural light flooding in from the glazed French doors and skylight in the flat roof.
The bespoke kitchen was designed by Eugene Hanniffy and handmade by cabinet makers from our sister company Clarkson Joinery and Furniture Ltd.
Adjacent to the kitchen there is a new glass Loggia with a stone tiled floor and an outside terrace overlooking the main paved garden.
The remainder of the upper floor has two lovely reception rooms. The rear room has a bespoke Walnut bookcase hand made by our own cabinet makers. A beautiful stone fire surround was installed to the front reception room with the clients own antique fire basket. New split height shutters to match the original were installed to the front windows.
Oak floors were laid to the living areas and bedrooms.
The lower floor of the apartment is divided into a master bedroom suite with adjacent master bathroom and two further guest bedrooms one of which had its own en-suite bathroom. There is also a guest WC.
Both bathrooms had traditional timber panelled walls and beautiful stone floors, bath tops and vanity tops. All three bedrooms have bespoke fitted wardrobes.
